The council approved on this fee structure for Los Flores Ranch:
The Park will have a fee in place hopefully by September 1st, 2010. The fee will be for all non Santa Maria residents. Anyone who lives in Santa Maria is FREE. All Docents are FREE. Anyone who cannot prove they are Santa Maria resident will have the following fee prices.
Single adult over 16 - $3.
Child under 16- Free
Seniors 62 yrs + - $1.50
Annual Family Pass - $45
This is what the City Council came up with and how the fee structure will go. We are trying to recruit as many docents as possible. If you know anyone who is interested please have them call 925-0951 ext. 985 and leave a message. We will contact them ASAP about the next training. Also, with this new fee we are planning on changing the park hours so that the park is open longer. We are planning on changing the hours to 7:30am - 7:30pm during the longer daylight hours and from 9am to 5:00pm during the winter early darkness days. With this change is when we are planning on adding the new trails as well. So it will happen very soon.
