If you have next weekend free and would like to participate in a Combined Driving event, consider volunteering at the Clay Station, American Driving Society sanctioned 2 day CDE. Volunteer coordinator Pat Scholderer has asked for help and she has helped out many, many times at our local driving events. Please see the information below and contact Pat if you are interested. Some of our local drivers will be competing and it should be a great time.
Breakfast (rolls/coffee) and lunch will be provided to volunteers on the day they work. Volunteers who work for two days will receive dinner Saturday night too. (Clay Station is renowned for feeding their friends) Dry camping for volunteers is free /no showers or hookups.

American Driving Society Pacific Region
Young/Novice Drivers’ Clinic
For the first time in the Pacific Region a clinic specifically aimed at young and novice drivers is being offered on June 4,5, and 6, 2010. This will be a limited clinic and those wishing to be considered for the clinic must fill out the application and return it to:
Veronica Campbell 1100 Stevely Avenue Long Beach, CA 90815 No later than May 1, 2010
The clinic will be held at Nine Oaks Ranch, 16500 South Mountain Road, Santa Paula, California. The Clinic will consist of 3 full days of instruction and hands on driving. Frank Luetz, Patricia Demers and Jill Warren Pond will be the clinicians. There will also be other mentors who will assist the clinicians.
Our hope is to help the drivers understand better how to get the most out of their driving experience.
